CU's Emma Strickland and Kaitlyn Gallagher also picked up Big South women's lacrosse players of the week honors. Strickland was named the league's defensive player of the week, while Gallagher was tabbed freshman of the week after making her collegiate debut.

Strickland, making her first career start in goal for the Camels, registered 12 saves, doubling the sophomore's previous career single-game best. The Roswell, Ga. native added a team-high six ground balls in the victory. Gallagher, meanwhile, came off the bench to dish out three assists, all coming in the second half to help CU pull away from the Hatters.
