GREENSBORO, N.C. - Luana Serranho scored 20 points to lead Campbell to a 56-48 win over North Carolina A&T Tuesday at the Corbett Center.
Campbell (17-5, 11-2) never gave up the lead and picked up its third-straight win. North Carolina A&T (10-12, 7-5) fell for the second time in three games and dropped its third game at home this season.
Serranho, who had her second 20-point game of the season, made 7-of-11 shots from the field and tallied four assists.
Campbell, which held its largest lead of 17 at the half, held the Aggies to 36.5 percent shooting from the field including 2-of-12 shooting from behind the arc.
A&T cut its deficit to as close as three points in the third quarter. Campbell responded with a 10-0 run to close out the third and open the fourth quarter, regaining its double-digit lead.
Serranho put the dagger in the Aggies' final comeback attempt, nailing her fourth three-pointer with less than 30 seconds left.
Taya Bolden finished with her 14th double-double of the season behind 11 points and 10 boards in 22 minutes. Shy Tuelle and Brittany Staves added eight points apiece for the Camels who remain on top of the Big South standings.
Jazmin Harris led A&T with 14 points and seven boards while Shareka McNeill added 13.
