The 2022 Campbell Soccer summer camp dates have been announced by head coach
Dustin Fonder, with several events taking place on Campbell University's campus over the next few months.
Â
"We have a great campus and program here at CU that we are excited to show to the local community and to top prospects from around the region and country," said Fonder. "The opportunity to recruit and build our fan base throughout the summer will lead into a great fall season."
Â
First up are a pair of youth camps being run in conjunction with the women's team at Campbell. The Junior Camels camp will offer a half-day and full-day option for players of all skill levels in the Buies Creek area. The camp dates are June 13-16 and July 25-28 and there are discounts available for siblings and Campbell employees. Camps will be focused on games and skill improvements along with other activities on Campbell's campus.
Â
2022 marks the return of campers being able to stay on campus and the Elite Residential Camp on July 22-24 will be an important event for players who are interested in getting an in depth look at what life at Campbell is like for student-athletes. Campers will get a chance to work with the men's soccer staff along with coaches from other schools in the region over the course of three days in order to find the best fit at the next level. There are currently eight players on Campbell's roster who attended a camp at CU prior to earning a spot on the team.
Â
The final event of the summer is the Cam Jam high school team camp where different schools from several states will stay on campus while preparing for the fall high school season. The excellent field space at Campbell with four Bermuda grass fields and a turf field ensures that all schools have a great experience with a schedule that avoids overplaying.
