BUIES CREEK, N.C. –Campbell University, head women's tennis coach Michael Stevens has announced this 2022 recruiting class. Eeva Ristola of Kotka, Finland, Veronika Prospalova of Tampa, Fla., and Anna Head of Raleigh, N.C., will join the Fighting Camel program in August.
"Eeva is a very accomplished player with extensive international playing experience. We are fortunate to have her join our program and I'm looking forward to working with her and watch her develop over the next four years.' said Stevens, who is entering his fourth year in charge of the program. "It's great to have Veronika commit to our team. She is a fantastic all court player and will contribute to our program immediately in both singles and doubles. Anna has been working extremely hard the last few years to develop her game to play at this level. Her passion for tennis and continued improvement is exciting to see."
The trio joins a Fighting Camel squad that finished as runner-up in the 2022 Big South standings (14-7, 7-1) and finished the regular season on a nine-match win streak.
