BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Justin Archer scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Radford over Campbell 63-55 Wednesday at Gore Arena.
Onyebuchi Ezeakudo (11), Nadiaw Niang (10) and DaQuan Smith (10) also hit double digits for the Highlanders (11-9, 5-2), who extended their win streak to four games.
Devon Dunn (6-of-11 threes) and
Anthony Dell'Orso led Campbell (7-12, 2-5) with 18 points each, while
Ricky Clemons chipped in 10 points and five assists.
Radford held a 37-25 edge on the boards and a 21-2 advantage in second-chance points.
The Highlanders led 35-26 at halftime before Campbell opened the second period on a 9-0 run to grab a 37-35 advantage.
Dunn's pullup three pulled the Camels with 49-48 with 6:36 to play, but the Highlanders answered with a 9-0 burst and stretched their lead to 57-48 on Smith's free throw with 2:52 to play. CU twice cut the lead to six but could draw no closer.
Radford finished 25-of-57 (.439) from the field, made 5-of-15 threes (.333) and 8-of-11 (.727) from the line. Campbell shot 42.6 percent (20-of-47) overall, 30.8 percent (8-of-26) beyond the arc and made 7-of-8 free throws (.875).
The Camels start a two-game road stretch Saturday at Charleston Southern (5:30).
