BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell defeated Presbyterian 36-9 and Davidson 43-3 in Southern Conference action on Saturday at McCall Court.

The Camels moved to 12-8 on the season and 3-0 against SoCon competition, winning their home finale over the Blue Hose (3-9, 0-5 SoCon) and Wildcats (2-7, 1-3 SoCon).

In Saturday's opener, Dominic Chavez gave PC a 3-0 lead with a 10-3 decision at 125, but Camels reeled off five straight victories, including a pin (2:44) from No. 29 Domenic Zaccone at 133 over Jacob Brasseur, a 10-2 major decision from at 141 No. 32 Shannon Hanna over Trenton Donahue, and a 15-0 tech fall (3:05) for Troy Nation over Michael Ramirez at 157.

Chad Nix finished off the 36-9 win with a first period pin (0:42) for the Camels.

Campbell raced out to a 34-0 lead over the Wildcats in the second half of the twinbill, starting the match with five straight bonus point wins, including a pin from Hanna (2:45) over Josh Viarengo. Zaccone added a 19-4 tech fall (6:22) over Jackson Sichelstiel, while No. 25 Anthony Molton at 125 and Chris Rivera at 149 tacked on major decisions for the Camels. At 197, No. 29 Levi Hopkins also closed out the match with a first period pin (1:47), topping Gavin Henry.

Jaden Hardrick picked up Davidson's lone win, a 3-1 overtime decision at 174 pounds.

Between duals, CU honored its three graduating seniors, Cameron Andrews, Calvin Hayford and Troy Nation, also recognizing its 2023 Campbell Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, former letterman and head coach Jerry Hartman '82.

Campbell will now hit the road for VMI (7-4, 1-2 SoCon), taking on the Keydets on Sunday, January 29, at 2:00 p.m. in Lexington, Va.
