Dustin Fonder has announced the addition of three transfers to the Fighting Camel men's soccer roster. Tai-Reece Chisholm of Birmingham, England, Curtis De Leon of Raleigh, N.C., and Adam Yousfi of Caluire Et Cuire, France have enrolled and will participate with the team in spring semester training.
Chilsholm (Tyler) and Yousfi (Monroe) join the Camels from national power junior college programs. De Leon is a transfer after playing two seasons at American Athletic Conference member UAB.
The trio joins a program that has captured six league trophies and made three NCAA postseason appearances over the last five years. Campbell, which won the 2022 Big South Conference regular season title, will join the Colonial Athletic Association on July 1.
Campbell won its third Big South regular season title in the last four years in 2022 and finished with an 11-4-5 overall record, 6-1-1 in the league. The Camels advanced to the Big South final for the third time in four seasons as well, before falling to High Point 2-0 in the title match.

Coach Fonder on Chisholm: "Tai-Reece is a dynamic attacking threat. He is quick and shifty off the dribble. He can also link play very well and has an eye for the final ball. Like all our mid-year enrollees, this Spring will be helpful preparation for fall of 2023."

UAB: Played in 30 matches with 26 starts over two seasons at Alabama-Birmingham… Scored three goals with six assists… Started 13 of 16 matches he played in 2022, with one goal and a team-leading five assists… UAB's third-leading scorer (7 points)… Had two assists in win over College of Charleston, and one against Queens, Mercer and UCF, while scoring at FIU… Played 73 minutes of 0-0 draw Oct. 18 at Campbell… As a freshman, started 13 of the 14 games he played with two goals and one assist… First career point came in assist at Ohio State… Scored vs. UTRGV and Kentucky…
Prep/Personal: Played for NCFC Academy and NCFC U23 USL2 teams… Made four appearances with Trinidad & Tobago U17 national team in 2019… Born Sept. 8, 2003 in Raleigh, N.C.
Coach Fonder on De Leon: "Curtis is a local talent from NCFC. He not only brings 2000 plus minutes of college experience but also international experience representing T&T national youth teams. He has a clever left foot that will be helpful in delivery and dead ball situations."

Monroe College: Played in 14 matches with 5 starts for 2022 NJCAA National Champion Monroe College… Scored 4 goals (1 game winner) with 3 assists for 11 points… Had two goals against Essex County College and two assists vs. USC Sumter… Helped team post a 14-1-3 record…

Coach Fonder on Yousfi: "Adam is a technical center midfielder with a vast passing range. He is also a proven winner having claimed the national title with Monroe. We are excited to begin working with Adam this Spring to better aide his transition to the fall 2023 season."
