Series History
The Camels and Ragin' Cajuns have never met. Campbell's only prior trip to the state of Louisiana was to face Southeastern Louisiana in 1995. 
 
Know Your Opponent
Louisiana enters the weekend 7-1, with series wins over Rice and BYU, along with a midweek win over McNeese State. 
 
The Ragin' Cajuns are led by first baseman Carson Roccaforte, who was named to the Golden Spikes Preseason Watch List. The senior hit a team-high .374 with 16 HR and 68 RBI a season ago.  
 
Led by fourth-year head coach Matt Deggs, Louisiana finished fourth in the Sun Belt last season, and was picked to finish fourth again this season, receiving one first place vote. 
 
Last Time Out
Campbell swept Butler with three comeback wins, including a walkoff on Sunday to complete the sweep. Campbell trailed 4-0 after six innings on Friday, 5-1 after two innings on Saturday, and 9-2 in the middle of the seventh on Sunday. The Camels outscored Butler 27-1 from the seventh inning and later across the series. 
 
Dalen Thompson provided the walk-off single on Sunday, his second base knock of the year. 
 
Looking Ahead
The Camels stay in Louisiana with a trip to New Orleans for a pair of midweek matchups at Tulane on Tuesday and Wednesday. Each of those games will be streamed on ESPN+ as well.
