BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After claiming its second team title of the season, Campbell heads to the 51st VyStar Credit Union Gators Invitational to face a field packed with nationally-ranked teams this weekend at Mark Bostick GC in Gainesville, Fla.
Ranked No. 78 in the latest Golfstat ratings, Campbell heads to a Gators Invitational that includes five teams ranked in the nations' top 25 and four more in the top 50.
Last month at the Sea Best Intercollegiate,
Isabella Hahne earned her first collegiate win (70-76-69—215), while
Patricia Garre Munoz (77-75-72—224, T12) and
Tomita Arejola (77-74-74—225, T17) posted top-20 finishes. Campbell finished with a 54-hole total of 890 to post a three-stroke victory over second-place FIU.
At Gainesville, the Camels will compete against No. 7 Mississippi State, No. 16 Arizona, No. 17 Ole Miss, No. 22 UCLA and No. 25 UCF in addition to 27th-ranked host Florida. The event includes three teams each from the SEC and ACC, two from the PAC-12 and Michigan of the Big Ten. and one (NC State) from the ACC.
As a team, Campbell owns a 294.5 stroke average and two victories in five starts in the 2022-23 campaign.
Three Camels return from the lineup that finished seventh in last year's Gators Invitational.

Sanna Lundmark tied for 45th (74-76-72—222) and
Patricia Garre Munoz tied for 52nd (78-73-74—225).

The Course – Mark Bostick GC (Par 70, 6002 yards): For more than 80 years, the Mark Bostick Golf Course has anchored the northwest corner of the University of Florida's Gainesville campus. Originally designed by renowned architect Donald Ross during the 1920s, the course has evolved over the years to take on its own distinct personality, most recently completing a $600,000 renovation in August of 2014.
The Coach: Now in his 33rd year in charge of the Campbell men's golf program and 32nd as head coach of the CU women,
John Crooks has been named league coach of the year 23 times in his tenure. His teams have combined to earn 34 NCAA post-season trips, including 10 in a row for the women. His teams have won 159 tournaments and with 98 career tournament titles, Crooks trails only Dan Brooks of Duke (140) on the all-time coaching victories list among Division I women's coaches. He has guided his teams to 26 league titles, including 18 on the women's side and eight in men's competition.

Freshman
Isabella Hahne (Kungsbacka, Sweden) owns a 73.47 stroke average and four top 20s in five collegiate starts. She matched her collegiate low round (69) and posted a second-straight top-10 individual finish with her win at the Sea Best Intercollegiate after tying for third last October at the Olde Stone Intercollegiate.
Senior
Patricia Garre Munoz (Murcia, Spain) has posted a 74.89 scoring average with three top-15 finishes in as many starts this season. She finished eighth at the Olde Stone Intercollegiate.
Fifth-year senior
Tomita Arejola (Quezon City, Philippines) owns three top-20 outings in five events this season. She has posted a 73.93 scoring average and was runner-up at the season-opening Golfweek Fall Invitational (70-70-65, -7).
Junior
Sanna Lundmark (Skellefea, Sweden) has finished among the top 25 individuals in four of her five starts this season. She has compiled a 74.2 stroke average and finished sixth last Oct. at The Southern.
Red-shirt freshman
Taylah Ellems (Canberra, Australia) has competed in all five events and posted a 77.3 stroke average. She was T32nd at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, where she shot a collegiate-low 69 in the opening round.
