RADFORD, Va. - No. 18 Campbell's bats stayed hot to power the Camels to a 25-6 win over Radford to take the series Saturday afternoon. Campbell logged a season-high 20 hits and matched its season high with 25 runs.

The Camels improved to 18-3, 5-0 with the win, and have now outscored its Big South foes 71-14 through five league games. Additionally, Campbell has now hit five home runs in three of its last four games.

Tyler Halstead set a program record with four doubles on the day, contributing to Campbell's seven doubles and 12 extra base hits.

The Camels scored six runs in the first, including
Max Weller and
Lawson Harrill going back-to-back during the frame. That would be the first of Weller's two home runs on the day, later going deep in the fourth inning. Campbell is now 13-0 when scoring in the first inning this season.

The flood gates opened in the third inning, with Campbell going on to score runs in every frame the rest of the way, and ultimately score multiple runs in seven of the nine innings on the day. After scoring five in the third inning on a couple of doubles, Belbin and Weller each went yard in the fourth to hang a four spot.

Four more crossed in the fifth, despite Campbell not recording a hit. Five walks and a hit-by-pitch put six runners on in the frame.

The Camels scored two in each the sixth and seventh innings, with
Payton Howard and
Dalen Thompson both coming off the bench to record RBIs in the process. Â Campbell rounded out the scoring with one in each the eighth and ninth.

Both Halstead and Weller had four-hit days and reached five times. Halstead went 4-5 with three RBI and four runs scored, while Weller went 4-6 with four RBI and four runs. Ten different Camels had a hit, with six having multiple hits.

Chance Daquila didn't need much run support en route to his nation's best sixth win of the season. The righty worked five shutout innings allowing just three hits and striking out four.

Radford got on the board against the bullpen, scoring one in each the sixth and seventh, and added four more in the ninth. Campbell's largest lead was at 24-2 after the seventh inning.

Campbell will look to complete the sweep Sunday at 1 p.m. That game will be streamed on ESPN+.
