BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell track and field is set for national championships with four entries across at the USA and Jamaica national meets, July 7-9.
Campbell will send C.J. McBride and Chastity Pickett to compete at the 2023 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field on the campus of University of Oregon.
Pickett will run in the 400m hurdles with first round action starting on Friday at 9:39 p.m. Less than a month ago Pickett earned first team All-America honors after finishing third overall in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA Championships.
McBride is set to compete in the high jump on Sunday at 8:05 p.m. Earlier this year McBride tied for the second-best high jump mark (2.25m / 7' 4.5") among NCAA Division I jumpers this past season.

Andre Douglas (110m hurdles) and Jamel Miller (200 meters) will compete in the Jamaican national meet with both competing in their respective events on Saturday, July 8. The JAAA National Senior & Junior Championship begins on Thursday and meet information can be found online.
Douglas, who was named Most Valuable Athlete at the Big South Outdoor Championships, qualified for NCAA East Preliminaries in the 110m hurdles where he ran a school record time of 13.82.
Miller qualified for the 200m at the NCAA East Prelims, advancing to the semifinals where he placed 14th overall. He went on to earn honorable mention All-America honors as part of Campbell's 4x100m relay squad at the NCAA Championships.
Individuals who place top three in their events will advance to compete at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest from August 19-27. Individuals can also be named as alternates for finishing fourth in their events.
