David Johnson has announced the 2023 Campbell University recruiting class.
Chris Davis,
Thomas Drapeau,
Matias Lofink and
Luke Tollenaar join the Fighting Camels, who have won back-to-back conference regular season titles.
Davis, Drapeau, Lofink and Tollenaar are the newest members of a Fighting Camel program that advanced to six of the last nine Big South Conference championship matches and won the last two Big South regular season titles. Over the last two years, Campbell posted a 30-13 overall record, 11-1 in league regular season play.
Campbell joined the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) on July 1, 2023.

Transfer from NAIA member William Carey University, which finished as runner-up in the 2023 Southern States Athletic Conference championship… Helped team earn at-large berth in NAIA national tournament… All-Conference performer, who posted a 10-3 record at No. 2 singles… Won singles and doubles provincial tournaments at U12, U16 and U18 level… Ranked among top 10 junior players in Canada and as high as No. 587 in ITF juniors… Twice reached doubles semifinals in ITF J3 events…

Ranked as high as No. 7 in German junior ratings, No. 270 in German men's ranking… Seven-time participant in German Junior National Championships (U18, U16, U14, U13)… Won five German regional singles titles… Led his team to state championship in 2022…

Two-time national tournament winner who was runner-up in U16 Dutch nationals… Ranked at least among top 8 players in each of his age groups…
