BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell women's soccer was unable to find a second equalizer, falling 2-1 to Towson on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Eakes Athletics Complex.
The Camels now sit at 2-4-3 (0-2-2 CAA), and the Tigers now sit at the top of the conference table at 7-1-1 (3-0-1).

Campbell found their equalizer in the 60th minute. Sage Dougherty fed a ball into the feet of Reagan Baiotto, who took a shot on goal that was saved. Baiotto was first to reach the rebound and hit the net on the half-volley.

The Camels were able to create one more quality opportunity in the 89th minute. Meghan Bernetti found herself at the end of a cross into the box. She headed it on frame, but the shot was corralled by Riley Melendez.
