BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell defeated William & Mary in straight sets Saturday afternoon at Gore Arena. Campbell improves to 5-8 overall and 2-1 in CAA play while the Tribe fall to 7-6, 2-1.

The Camels took the first set 25-16, connecting on 12 kills while holding the visitors to five kills and 12 attacking errors for a -0.179 hit percentage.

Campbell won the second set 25-20 and edged out the Tribe 25-23 in the final set to earn its second straight-set victory of the season. Chloe Cook finished with a team-high 13 kills while Melody Paige added nine kills and one service ace.

Maddie Converse led the way with 17 assists for the Camels along with McKenna Sciacca who posted 15 assists and 13 digs.

Campbell returns Sunday against William & Mary at 1:00 PM.
