WILLIAMSBURG, VA. – Campbell picked up its second straight victory with a 77-64 win at William & Mary Thursday night inside Kaplan Arena. The duo of
Anthony Dell'Orso and
Laurynas Vaistaras combined for 47 points on 21-27 shooting on the evening to lead the effort.
The win takes Campbell to 9-9, 3-2 in league play, while the Tribe drops to 7-11, 2-3.

The Camels had a very efficient first half from two-point range, going 14-16 from inside the arc, including hitting their first 11 two-point tries. Dell'Orso led the charge at 7-10 from the floor and led all scorers with 16 at the break. The Camels went into the intermission ahead by at 36-31.
Campbell controlled the second half, doing most of their damage again at the rim. Vaistaras turned in 11 of his 21 in the second half on 5-6 from the floor.
Elijah Walsh provided a spark after halftime as well with 11 points including a pair of dunks. Campbell used a 9-0 run to push the lead to as many as 14 with 6:50 to go and closed out the game from there for a 13 point win.
Dell'Orso led the way with 26 points and 8 rebounds, while Vaistaras poured in 21 to set a new career-high for the second straight game. The duo each scored 20+ last time out as well against Hofstra. Vaistaras, CU's leading assist man, also dished out six dimes on the night.
Jasin Sinani matched him six assists as well.
Campbell's efficiency at the rim helped overcome the Tribe's three-point barrage, knocking down 12 triples to Campbell's four, doing so at a 43% clip.
CU had the advantage in nearly every other category on the box score, with a +10 rebounding advantage, 21 assists on 34 made buckets, and just eight turnovers, only giving it up once in the second half on a shot clock violation.
