Box Score Towson, Md. – The Camels shot just 32% on the day as they suffered a 77-43 defeat Saturday afternoon at Towson. The setback is Campbell's largest since the 2016-17 season opener at Oklahoma State in a 37-point loss.
The loss drops Campbell to 9-10, 3-3 in the league. Towson improves to 11-8, 4-2.
The Camels trailed by 10 going into halftime, 33-23.
Anthony Dell'Orso got it going later in the first half and had a team-high 10 points heading to the intermission. Campbell shot just 2-7 from distance in the first 20 minutes, while Towson went 50% at 6-12 from beyond the arc. Nine different players for Towson made at FG in the first half.
Towson continued to extend the lead throughout the second half until the largest lead of the game at the final horn with the Tigers ahead by 34. Campbell struggled to hit shots again in the second half, shooting just 28% and hitting only one triple after halftime. After turning it over just one time in the second half on Thursday, Campbell coughed it up 10 times in the second half Saturday afternoon.
Dell'Orso led the Camels with 15 points on the day. Mokseckas added 14 points, his most since the season opener when he had 16 against Navy. The Camels managed to pull down 10 offensive rebounds, but failed to cash in on any of them finishing without a second chance point. Towson, meanwhile, turned 18 offensive rebounds into 15 second-chance points. 18 offensive boards are the most surrendered by Campbell this season.
Tyler Tejada led all players with 18 points. Charles Thompson hauled in nine rebounds on the afternoon. Towson knocked down 11 three-pointers on the day, shooting 42% from beyond the arc.

Tasos Cook late in the ballgame.
The Camels return to Buies Creek Thursday night to host Elon at 5 p.m. That game is set to be broadcast on national TV on the CBS Sports Network.
