FARMVILLE, VA. - Luc Lavielle scored the tying goal and assisted on the game-winner as Campbell downed Longwood 3-1 Tuesday night at the Longwood Athletics Complex.

Ethan Roberts and Marco Wright joined Lavielle as goal scorers for Campbell (5-2-4), who picked up its first win since Sept. 7. Longwood (3-4-2) had its three-match unbeaten streak snapped, dropping its first home match of the season. 

Longwood struck early in the fourth minute as Ethan Stevenson slipped a pass through the Campbell backline for Mikey Hernandez who fired a shot in to the upper right of the goal.

The Camels quickly answered in the 13th minute as Wright had a shot blocked and deflected up towards the far post for Lavielle who headed it in. 

Campbell went ahead in the 54th minute as Lavielle took advantage of a misplayed pass by the Longwood keeper. Lavielle had his shot saved and ricochet off the keeper into the middle of the box for Ethan Roberts who scored on the empty net. 

In the 75th minute, Wright put away his first goal of the season after dribbling into the left side of the box and striking the ball into the top right of the goal. 

Campbell held a 15-8 advantage in shots, 7-4 on goal, and took five corners to just two for the hosts. Max Leviton made his first start in goal since late August, making three saves on the night.

CU returns home Saturday at 1 PM against Stony Brook. Former Camels will be honored at halftime as part of festivities for Alumni Day.
