Camels compete at Elon Phoenix Invitational

ELON, N.C. - Campbell men and women competed at the Elon Phoenix Invitational, with the men placing fourth and women placing fifth. Multiple personal records were set.

Emily Pierce set a personal record for the 6k with a time of 22:47.2 and placed 13th. Abby Reutinger (25:01.9), Claire Hartigan (25:10.2), Mary Ella Bichey (25:44.2), and Kylie White (25:46.8) all set personal records as well.

Andrew Barrett and Hudson Hayes tied for first for the Campbell men with a time of 27:22.6, with Craig Costa right behind them with a time of 27:27.3.

The Campbell men placed fourth overall and the women placed fifth overall.

The Camels will return to the XC course for the CAA Conference Championship on November 1st in Burlington, N.C.
