Cross Country competes at CAA Championship

ELON, N.C. - Campbell cross country competed its fourth meet of the season at the CAA Championships on Friday morning.

Emily Pierce finished first out of the Campbell women with a time of 22:34.10. Claire Hartigan finished second for the Campbell women with a time of 24:23.90, with Abby Reutinger (25:23.90) and Truth King (25:25.60) right behind.

Hudson Hayes finished first for the Campbell men with a time of 26:50.20. Andrew Barrett finished second for the men with a time of 27:28.40, with Craig Costa right behind him with a time of 27:32.70.

Northeastern's Benjamin Godish completed the 8K course in 24:11.40 to finish first for the men. Also with Northeastern, Abigail Hassman finished first in the 6K course for the women with a time of 20:08.10.

The Campbell men placed eighth overall, which was one place higher than last year, and the women placed 11th overall. Northeastern finished first overall for the women, and Stony Brook finished first overall for the men.
