Camels earn 20-point win at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, MD. - Campbell got back in the win column with a 20-point victory over Navy, 86-66, in Alumni Hall on campus of the US Naval Academy.

The win moves Campbell to 3-2, while Navy falls to 1-3 on the year.

Jasin Sinani led the way for Campbell with 24 points, Campbell's first 20-point game of the year. The senior went 10-11 at the stripe and converted three and-ones in the first half. Terren Frank added a season-high 17 points on 8-13 from the floor.

Campbell entered the game at eighth nationally in free throw percentage and improved on that mark tonight, shooting 19-22 at the stripe (86%).

The Camels worked through first-half shooting woes at 1-12 from distance in the first 20, by going 13-20 from inside the arc. Campbell finished with 40 points in the paint on the night. Campbell carried 38-33 point into the locker room.

Shots started falling in the second half and Campbell cashed in opportunities. The Camels shot 6-11 from distance after the break and took advantage of six second-half turnovers by the Midshipmen to turn into a 13-2 edge in points off turnovers. The Camels won the second half 48-33 to come away with the 20-point difference by the final horn.

In addition to Sinani and Frank, Nolan Dorsey added 12, and the local kid, Cam Gregory (Accokeek, Md.) scored 10 and had four steals in front of his hometown crowd. Caleb Zurliene and Tasos Cook led the way with six rebounds each, while Zurliene also posted a team-high four assists.

The Camels are back on the road Friday against Ohio State in Columbus. TIp-off is set for 6 p.m. on the Big10 Network.
