Camels to face Morgan State

BUIES CREEK - The Camels hit the road for the second time in four days to take on Morgan State in Baltimore, Md. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at Hill Field House. There is no video stream of the game, but you can listen in with Chris Hemeyer on the radio call on GoCamels.com or The Varsity Network App.

Series History
The Camels are 1-2 in three meetings with Morgan State, all three coming since 2015. Campbell downed the Bears last season 83-76. After trailing by one at the half, Colby Duggan scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half to help give the Camels the win.

Scouting The Bears
Morgan State carries a 5-8 record into Sunday's contest. Four of its five wins are against non-D1 opponents. The Bears are looking to end a two-game slide after allowing 100+ points in back-to-back contests to Bowling Green and Xavier.

Wynston Tabbs leads the team with 16.1 ppg as one of three Bears averaging double figure scoring.

Morgan State was picked to finish fourth in the MEAC preseason poll under Kevin Broadus in his sixth season at the helm.

Last Time Out
Campbell defeated The Citadel 86-58 Thursday night in Charleston. The win was Campbell's largest non-conference road win, and the fourth largest road win overall in the program's D1 history.

Five players scored in double figures led by Nolan Dorsey's 19. Both Dorsey and Terren Frank handed out five assists to help Campbell to 21 assists and just six turnovers, both the best marks of the season thus far.

Campbell now owns two road wins by 20 points or more in a single season for the first time in program history.

Looking Ahead
Campbell hosts its last home non-conference game and final home game of 2024 on Dec. 18 against Longwood. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. in Gore Arena.
