Morgan State shot a blistering 73% in the second half to score 53 second-half points. Will Thomas and Kameron Hobbs led the Bears in the second half with 19 and 17 points, respectively. Thomas led all scorers with 27 on the afternoon.

The game featured just five lead changes, with the Bears going up 53-51 with 11:27 to play and leading the rest of the way.
