BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell Camels clinched the series against Ohio with a 14-12 victory Saturday afternoon at Jim Perry Stadium.

The Camels started in the first inning, as Grant Knipp hit the first of two home runs on the day, driving in Lawson Harrill.

The game opened up in the sixth, when the Bobcats scored six runs. They recorded four hits in the inning, while Campbell committed two errors and a wild pitch.
The Camels scored four of their own in the bottom half of the sixth. Four consecutive batters walked with one out to plate one, then Stallman scored on a wild pitch. Peyton Bonds hit a double to center field to score Knipp and Jonah Oster.
After a scoreless seventh from both teams, Ohio plated four more in the eighth after hitting four doubles.
Bonds began the home half of the eighth with a single in to left. He would then steal second and third base before O'Shaughnessy scored him with a double to right center.
Packy Bradley-Cooney came on for the Camels in the ninth inning and worked a 1-2-3 inning with a pop out, a groundout and a strikeout to put the Bobcats away. It was Bradley-Cooney's second save of the season.
