Cole Peschl moves from the midweek starter role to Friday with the Camels not playing this past Tuesday. He leads the team with a 4.28 ERA and 46 strikeouts to only nine walks in his seven starts. Nate Brittain remains the Sunday starter after throwing five scoreless innings and being named CAA Rookie of the Week last week.

Lawson Harrill continues to lead the team in hits, with 41. He's also ranked No. 17 in the country in hit-by-pitch, being on the receiving end of 15. Dalen Thompson is second on the team with 33 RBI following his walk-off performance last Sunday against N.C. A&T.

Series History

The two teams have only faced off three times in the series history. Campbell holds the 2-1 edge over the Seawolves.

Know Your Opponent

Stony Brook (15-16, 4-5 CAA) swept Elon last weekend in conference play before falling to Army in the midweek.

Matt Brown-Eiring leads the Seawolves with a .372 batting average, four home runs and 29 RBI. Erik Paulsen (.303), a two-time conference freshman of the week, is the only other regular starter hitting above .300.

Eddie Smink and JT Raab each possess an ERA under four, 3.67 and 3.79 respectively. Paulsen has also proven to be a reliable bullpen arm as a freshman, recording a team-high three saves this season.

Matt Senk is in his 34th year at the helm of Stony Brook baseball, amassing 936 wins. The Seawolves were picked to finish eighth in the conference preseason poll, and utility player Evan Fox was selected to the All-CAA Preseason Team.

Last Time Out

Campbell defeated N.C. A&T in extra innings to take the 2-1 series victory. Thompson's heroics in the tenth gave the Camels a 7-5 victory. The Camels are in fifth place in the conference standings but sit just two games behind the leaders.

Dinger Duos

Harrill and Grant Knipp are one of five teammate duos in Division I to each have 14+ home runs (Morehead St., Texas A&M, Florida, Austin Peay).

Golden Spikes

Grant Knipp was named to the USA Baseball Golden Spikes Midseason Watch List.

Leading The Nation

The Camels are 4th in home runs, 8th in slugging percentage, 11th in walks, 12th in total runs, and 16th in on-base percentage. Reed Stallman is 18th in walks/game. Harrill is 5th in runs, 7th in slugging, 14th in hit-by-pitch and 12th in OBP. Knipp is 7th in home runs.

Century Club

The Camels have recorded 100+ doubles, home runs, stolen bases and HBPs in each of the past two seasons. They were the only team to accomplish this feat in either year.

Haire Wins 300

Head Coach Justin Haire recorded his 300th career victory on March 16 against Valparaiso. In just over 10 seasons, the Camels have averaged over 30 wins a year during his tenure.
