The Camels head to UNCW

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell is set to head to UNCW this weekend, April 19-21, for another CAA series.

Saturday, April 20 – Campbell vs. UNCW, 4:00 PM, Wilmington, N.C.
Sunday, April 21 – Campbell vs. UNCW, 1:00 PM, Wilmington, N.C.

LEADING OFF

The Camels are 14-4 in conference play, 25-17-1 overall.
The Camels swept CAA opponent College of Charleston this past weekend, two of the games being five-inning shutouts.
Lindsay Lumsden leads the Camels at the plate with a .370 batting average, with 40 hits, including three home runs, and 20 RBIs. There are six other Camels batting over .300 including Mariana Rodriguez (.349), Alyssa Henault (.348), Delaney McDilda (.345), Tyra Parker (.340), Tristin Doster (.330) and Charlie Montgomery (.311).
Among starting pitchers, Isabella Smith leads the team with a 1.96 ERA and a 18-5 record. She has pitched 136.0 innings, allowing 38 earned runs and striking out 150.

UNCW owns a 24-16 record overall this season with a 13-5 conference record, recently winning the series against North Carolina A&T and winning against East Carolina on Wednesday.
Campbell will be the seventh CAA team they have faced this season.
Freshman Cassidy Relay leads the Seahawks with a .359 AVG, with 33 hits, and 1 RBI.
Junior pitcher Kara Hammock owns a team-best 1.80 ERA, recording 71 strikeouts in 105.0 innings.
