BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell's annual Orange & Black Spring Football Game is set for noon on April 13 at Barker-Lane Stadium.
This year's game is presented by the Fighting Camel Club, with festivities beginning at 10:30 a.m., and the game beginning at noon. The event will be the final of 15 dates over CU's five-week spring practice period under new head coach
Braxton Harris.
In addition to getting a preview of the 2024 Fighting Camels, anyone in attendance will be able to join the Fighting Camel Club at a special 25 percent off discounted rate.
At 10:30 a.m., alumni and supporters are invited to join the Spring Game Rally, hearing from Campbell's football staff, as well as Coach Harris.
Attendees can also enjoy Pelican's Sno Balls and Empire Eats food trucks on site, as well as concessions from Aramark, featuring a sneak peak at its 2024 signature concession item, the "Macho Nachos", featuring house smoked BBQ pulled pork, homemade tortilla chips, jalapeno cheese sauce, fresh pico de gallo, jalapenos and sour cream.
After the Spring Game, fans are encouraged to head across campus to catch Campbell's baseball and softball squads in action, with free tickets available to the Fighting Camels' 3:00 p.m. CAA game against Stony Brook at Jim Perry Stadium for Spring Game attendees.
Campbell's 2024 schedule will include six home and six away dates in total, kicking off the season on the road at Liberty on August 31. The Camels will host CAA foe Stony Brook in their home opener at 5:00 p.m. on September 21.
Campbell, along with CAA Football,
announced its home and conference game times for the 2024 season on March 29, featuring new, family friendly kickoff times, allowing fans to better enjoy the game day experience, including Pepsi Tailgate Town and CU traditions new and old.
