BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Seven wrestlers from Campbell University will be competing at the 2024 U23 Nationals in Geneva, Ohio, beginning tomorrow and running through Sunday at the Spire Institute.
Cooper Shore will compete in the Greco-Roman division on Friday, May 31. Beginning on Saturday, Shore will compete in the Freestyle division alongside Hudson Waldrop, Chris Earnest, Wynton Denkins, Logan Heckert, Levi Hopkins and Conor Maslanek.
The champions of the U23 Nationals events will be eligible to compete at the U23 Pan American Championships, June 21-22 in Rionegro, Colombia. The event features a full challenge tournament and a best-of-three championship series.

Assistant Coach Josh Heil
"In the sport of wrestling, the best way to get better is to compete and put yourself in competitive environments. For the guys going and competing at the U23 tournament this weekend, it will be a great opportunity to go out there and be competitive no matter what style it is. On top of that, it allows them to have a solid six to eight weeks of intense and directive training leading up to the event."
