NEWARK, DEL. - Delaware scored three first half goals to knock off Campbell 3-1 Saturday afternoon at Grant Stadium.

Campbell (4-2-4, 1-1-1) dropped its first CAA match of the season while Delaware (5-3-1, 1-2-0) picked up its first conference victory. 

Delaware got on the board in the 12th minute as Sam Donnellan dribbled into the box, passing off to Marius Stenner to the right of the goal. Stenner centered the ball in for Jaydon Fuller, scoring with a right foot shot in the bottom center of the net. 

The Blue Hens doubled their lead in the 17th minute as Donellan passed to Justin Ruth down the left side. Ruth crossed inside the box to Stenner who found himself behind the CU backline for the goal.

Stenner added another goal right before halftime on a right-footed shot to the bottom left of the goal. 

The Camels got one back in the 82nd minute as Owen Mikoy sent a ball down the right side for Kwame Kwakye. Campbell had another look on goal minutes later as Lotem Ben Dov hit off the top of the crossbar. 

Campbell held a 14-11 advantage in shots but both sides had five shots on goal each. The Camels also had three corners to just one for the Blue Hens.

CU remains on the road, heading to former Big South rival Longwood on Tuesday evening.
