STATESBORO, GA. –
Logan Graf tied for first place and Campbell finished third on the team leader board after Tuesday's final round of the Bash in the Boro at the GSU Golf Course.
Graf (70-68-68—206) and Stanley Campbell of Jacksonville State (70-67-69—206) completed the 54-hole event at 10-under par. Both players made par on the first playoff hole before Campbell made birdie on the second to claim individual medalist honors.
Host Georgia Southern won team honors at 31-under par (278-277-278—833). Jacksonville State finished second at 15-under (290-276-283—849), while Campbell was third (289-274-288—851), nine strokes ahead of Richmond in the 12-team field.
A red-shirt junior from Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Graf produced his best collegiate finish since he tied for seventh in his first college outing in the fall of 2022 while playing at Eastern Michigan.
Playing in just his third collegiate event, Campbell freshman
William Sundborn (70-66-73—209) finished sixth in the 81-golfer field. Sophomore
Benjamin Killingstad tied for 34th (73-73-74—220) and senior
Erik Johansson finished T49 (76-67-80—223). Freshman
Adrian Bergqvist (79-75-73—227) tied for 63rd, while senior
Malik Dao, who competed as an individual, finished T68 (77-78-73—228).
One day after producing their lowest team score to par since Sept. 14, 2021, when CU was 14-under (274) in the final round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at True Blue, the Camels registered their best 54-hole total of the '25-26 campaign.
The Camels competed in Statesboro without Joachim Larsen, who owned the team's second-lowest stroke average (72.0) through two events. The junior from Lier, Norway represented his country last week in the World Amateur Team Championship in Singapore.
Campbell continues its schedule this weekend when the Camels travel to the Furman Intercollegiate, which will be held Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 18-19) at the Furman University GC in Greenville, S.C.
