- Sunday's match marks the 19th all-time meeting between the two programs
- UNCW leads the overall series 5-12-1 dating back to 1994.

LAST TIME OUT
- Campbell fell to Drexel, 2-1, on Alumni Day at Eakes Athletics Complex.
- Drexel struck first in the fourth minute of the match to take an early lead.
- Just under a minute later, Ava Kanaar found the equalizer off the assists from Abby Connolly and Natalie Jamison.
- Campbell led in total shots (10) and tied a season high nine corners.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- UNCW comes into the match with a 11-3-2 overall record and 7-0-1 in CAA play clinching the top seed in the South Division.
- The Seahawks lead the CAA with 20 goals in league action.
- Hailey Longwell paces the conference with six goals and 14 points, adding two assists.
- Ayanna Parker and Ava Vaughan have also registered six points apiece against league
- opponents, combining for five goals and two helpers.
- UNCW will look to become the first team to finish CAA play with an unblemished record in
- a non-shortened season since Hofstra went 7-0-2 in 2019. With a win over Campbell, eight conference wins by the Seahawks would be the most by a CAA program since the Pride went 9-0-0 in 2017. UNCW is ranked eighth in the United Soccer Coaches' East Region Poll.
LEADING THE CHARGE
- Sophomore Ava Kanaar leads the squad with four goals on the season.
- Kanaar has scored a goal in each of the last three matches (at Charleston, vs. Towson, vs. Drexel)
- She leads the squad with nine points, four goals, and is second on the team in total shots (16) and shots on goal (11).
FEPESSI FILES
- Junior Zahra Fepessi has made her mark for the Camels this season in eight games played. Fepessi earned her first start of the season against Stony Brook where she would record her first collegiate goal.
- She has gone on to tally two more goals on the season and is second on the team with three.
- Fepessi and Kanaar both have a trio of goals in CAA play.
CLEAN SHEETS
- JLo Varada earned her first start of the season against Hampton on Sept. 28. She secured the shutout victory for the Camels making it the team's second of the season and the fourth overall shutout. Varada's shutout is the first of the season and seventh career clean sheet. The clean sheets continued with a shutout of William & Mary. The senior picked up three saves in 13 shots faced against the Tribe.
- Anais van Doesburg made just her second and third career starts in the first two matches of the season. posting back-to-back shutouts. The last time the Camels posted back-to-back shutouts to open the season was in 2011. The Camels picked up a 5-0 win over Delaware to open the season and 2-0 win over UMBC in game two. van Doesburg now has three shutouts this season which is good for third most in the conference.

Defender
Natalie Jamison is the only Camel to have started all 15 games this season. She leads the team with 1,087 minutes played and is tied for second on the team with two assists. She has registered four shots on the season with three on goal.
LEADING THE WAY
Head Coach
Jeff Gross (UMBC '91) enters his fourth season at Campbell and as a head coach. Gross spent the previous eight seasons, including the last two as associate head coach, on the staff at UNC Greensboro. While at UNCG, Gross helped guide the Spartans to back-to-back Southern Conference championships and NCAA College Cup appearances in 2017 and 2018. Gross took over a program that is coming off consecutive trips to the Big South Conference championship game as well as an appearance in the 2020-21 NCAA tournament.
