PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLA. – Erik Johansson shot a two-under par 70 and Campbell was 7-over as a team after Monday's first round of the FAU Invitational at Panther National Golf Club.
 
Joachim Larsen Tegner finished the opening round 2-over, Benjamin Killingstad 3-over, Logan Graf 4-over and William Sundborn 5-over on the par-72, 7560-yard Jack Nicklaus-Justin Thomas layout.
 
Tarleton State led the 16-team field at 12-under par after the opening round.  Originally scheduled for 54 holes, the event was shortened to 36 due to weather and slow play conditions.  Alvaro Pastor of Tarleton State was the first-round individual leader at 6-under 66.
