Camels to host Elon

BUIES CREEK - Campbel returns to The Creek to begin the longest homestand of the season. The Camels host Elon this weekend ahead of Northeastern coming to town the following. 

Campbell sits at 16-5, 8-2 and tied for second place in the CAA standings with six matches to go in the regular season.

Gameday Promotions
Friday is Halloween! All fans are encouraged to wear their costumes to the match!
Saturday is kids day and camper reunion. Kids will receive Campbell volleyball trading cards and can get them signed after the match.

Series History
The Camels are 13-6 all-time against Elon, and 1-1 since becoming conference foes in the CAA. Campbell is just 2-2 against Elon under Greg Goral, with the rivalry going dormant from 2016 until last season. 

Scouting the Phoenix
Elon enters at 5-16, 3-7 in league play. Despite the losing record, Elon is responsible for Towson's only league loss of the season thus far, a five-set win in Maryland. The Phoenix run a balanced offense with four players averaging better than 2.00 kills/set. Simrin Carlsen does it all for Elon, logging the second-most kills and leading the team in digs. 

Last Time Out
Campbell earned a road sweep at Stony Brook, downing the Seawolves in five sets Friday night and four sets on Saturday. Hailey Heytvelt was tabbed CAA Defensive Player of the Week after posting 13 total blocks on the weekend. 

Looking Ahead
Campbell hosts Northeastern for its final two home matches of the season on Nov. 7-8.
