Camels release 2026 schedule

BUIES CREEK - The 2026 Fighting Camels volleyball schedule is set as the Camels begin the defense of both the CAA regular season and tournament titles.

The schedule features four weekends of non-conference action and 16 CAA regular season matches. As the defending champs, Campbell will host the 2026 CAA Championships in Buies Creek, slated for Nov. 19-21.

"Our schedule is loaded with quality opponents over all four weekends that will challenge and prepare us for another CAA title run this fall," head coach Greg Goral said. Competing against Power-Four schools, Kansas State, Georgia Tech and Maryland will give us opportunities to measure our abilities against some of the country's elite programs.

"We also have strong mid-majors including Xavier, Ball State, and regional foe ECU. All of our non-conference matches will force us to contend with talent, athleticism, and length. I couldn't assemble a better variety of opponents."

Along with three Power-Four opponents, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, and Xavier were all in the NCAA tournament along with Campbell last season.

The season kicks off on Aug. 29 in Manhattan, KS against Texas A&M Corpus Christi 8/29 and Kansas State (8/30).

The Camels travel to Atlanta to face Xavier and Southern Indiana on Sept. 4, before the host Georgia Tech on Sept. 5.

Campbell will once again host the Fairfield Inn Campbell Invitational on Sept. 11-12. The Camels face Ball State that Friday, with Stetson and Furman the following day.

Non-con play concludes in Greenville, NC against Maryland (9/19), Old Dominion (9/20), and ECU (9/21).

"Our CAA schedule is also loaded with many critical weekends including away matches at Hofstra and Charleston and home contests against Towson, NC A&T and Stoney Brook," Goral said. "I'm looking forward to the challenge of a new season with a new team with high expectations."

CAA play features action on Friday night and Saturday afternoon over the next eight weekends. Conference play begins at home with in-state rival UNCW on Sept. 25-26.

The first league road trip is a championship rematch at Hofstra on Oct. 2-3, before returning home to host Towson Oct. 9-10. The Camels did not face Hofstra or Towson during the regular season in 2025.

Campbell visits Hampton on Oct. 16-17, and will look to stay undefeated all-time against the Pirates.

Campbell hosts NC A&T on Oct. 23-24. Campbell split the final weekend of the regular season with the Aggies in 2025 as one of CU's only three league losses.

The Camels head to Elon Oct. 30-31 for some Halloween volleyball.

The home slate wraps up Nov. 6-7 against Stony Brook in a rematch of the CAA semifinals. The Camels faced the Seawolves three times last year, with two of the three going to five sets.

The regular season ends on the road at Charleston, where Campbell will look to avenge a home sweep at the hands of the Cougars last season.

The CAA Championships in Buies Creek begin on Nov. 19, with the championship match set for Nov. 21.

Campbel offers free admission to all home, regular season contests. Streamed CAA matches will be available on FloSports.
