Fanni Gronlund moved up to a tie for 16th individually and Campbell improved to 12th on the team leader board after Monday's second round of the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate at Cherokee Country Club.
Gronlund birdied three of her final five holes Monday and is even-par (73-69—142) for the tournament heading into Tuesday's final round. She matched her collegiate low 18-hole score by making six birdies and eight pars to climb 16 places in the individual standings.
Isabella Hahne moved up 12 places to T36 (75-72—147) and
Taylah Ellems (75-74—149) stands T45, while
Jade Potter is T58 (76-75—151) and
Linn Svedlund 75th (79-79—158) through 36 holes.
Paced by individual leader Kyra Ly (68-68—136, -6), Oregon State stands 5-under as a team (283-280—563) through 36 holes, three strokes better than host Tennessee (280-286—566). Campbell finished Sunday's play 15-over par (299).
As a team, the Camels (299-290—589) finished the day six-over par and enter the final round just five shots out of the top 10 on the par-71 Donald Ross layout.

The Course – Cherokee Country Club (Par 71, 5965 yards): Founded in 1907 and extended to 18 holes in 1910 by famed architect Donald Ross, Cherokee Country Club is nestled in a bend of the Tennessee River with sweeping view of the Smoky Mountains. The course was redesigned over in the years, initially through Alex McKay in 1950 and Dan Maples made further revisions in 1985. In 2000, Ron Prichard (Donald Ross restoration architect) was appointed to restore the course to its former glory. Prichard employed old aerial photographs, and the course was opened to play in 2008. The club has played host to U.S. Open Qualifying and the Tennessee State Amateur.
