BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Ciara Alexander scored a career-high 20 points and Campbell cruised to its 10th-straight win at home, defeating Northeastern 81-41 Friday night at Gore Arena.
Campbell (13-9, 6-4) outscored Northeastern (1-18, 0-10) 46-17 in the second half including 26-4 in the fourth period to remain undefeated at home this season (10-0).
Courtney Dahlquist scored all 13 of her points in the first half, while Gemma Nunez totaled 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists.
Alexander scored 14 of her 20 points in the second half and added seven rebounds, including five offensive boards. Jasmine Felton added seven points and nine rebounds while Hadleigh Dill scored eight points.
Natalie Larranaga led Northeastern 13 points while Abigail Jegede added 10 points.
Campbell shot 48.5 percent (32-of-66) overall, 41.2 percent (7-of-17) from three and made 10-of-14 free throws. The Huskies made 36.0 percent (18-of-50) overall and shot just 11.8 percent (2-of-17) from three.
The Camels held a 47-25 advantage on the boards, scored 24 points off 18 Northeastern turnovers and held a 48-30 advantage in paint points.
