Joachim Larsen Tegner finished 22nd on the individual leaderboard and Campbell placed seventh in the team standings after Sunday's final round of the Tar Heel Intercollegiate at UNC Finley Golf Club.
Playing against a field that included five other top-100 ranked teams, No. 89 Campbell (289-292-280—861) moved up three spots on Sunday after posting an even-par 280 team score on the Davis Love redesign, which was the site of the 2024 NCAA Chapel Hill Regional.
Host and ninth-ranked North Carolina finished at 1-under par (280-281-278—839) to earn a one shot victory over Elon (281-287-272—840). Kennesaw State was third at one-over par, 13 shots better than No. 65 Michigan State (854) and 14 clear of 16th-ranked Duke (855).
UNC's David Ford claimed individual medalist honors at 7-under par (72-64-67—203). Jack Wieler of Elon was runner-up (70-71-66—207).
Larsen Tegner finished one-under on the day and five-over for the tournament (72-74-69—215).
Henric Bjelke (71-76-69—216) tied for 29th, while
Erik Johansson (71-74-72—217) and
Benjamin Killingstad (75-72-70—217) both were 7-over and tied for 37th.
Logan Graf finished T56 (76-72-73—221) and the Camels led the field with 175 pars.
Campbell returns to action next Sunday for the opening round of the CAA Championship, Apr. 20-22 at Union League GC in Swainton, N.J.
