WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary evened the series with a come-from-behind 8-5 victory over Campbell Saturday afternoon at Plumeri Park.

The Tribe (14-24, 8-6 CAA) scored in each of the second through sixth innings, answering a four-run first frame by Campbell (16-22, 7-7).
Â
Both starters on the mound,
Evans Hendricks and Zach Boyd, recorded no decisions after the Tribe went ahead late. Nick Lottchea (3-1) earned the win for W&M. His counterpart was
Mason Smith, who moved to 1-4 on the year.
Â
Campbell went up early with four runs in the first inning. On the first pitch of the game,
Darnell Parker Jr. bunted down the first-base line for a single. He then advanced to second on a balk, and
Dalen Thompson scored him with an RBI double to the left field corner.
Â
Charlie Meglio worked a walk to put runners on first and second.
Joey Morton then sent his eighth home run of the season to center field for a three-run shot.
Â
Anthony Greco scored the first run for William & Mary with a solo home run to lead off the home half of the second inning.
Â
Doubles from Ben Parker and Jamie Laskofski scored another run for the Tribe in the third to make it 4-2.
Â
Freshman
Andrew Keller hit his second solo home run of the series in the top of the fourth to put the Camels back up by three.
Â
With one out and runners on first and second in the bottom of the fourth,
Mason Smith came on to replace Hendricks. The runners advanced on a groundout to third base, then both scored on a single through the right side by Parker.
Â
Laskofski recorded his second RBI of the day with a solo home run in the fifth inning to tie the game, 5-5.
Â
The Tribe scored for the fifth consecutive inning to take a three-run lead in the bottom of the sixth. Smith allowed a single, sacrifice bunt and walk to put runners on first and second with one out before he was replaced by
David Rossow.
Â
Rossow walked Parker to load the bases, then three consecutive wild pitches to Lucas Carmichael scored all three baserunners.
Â
Nick Biasi replaced Rossow after he finished the walk to Carmichael. Biasi recorded the final two outs without allowing another run to score.
Â
Biasi struck out Charlie Iriotakis to start the seventh before he was replaced by
Drew Siegner. Siegner allowed two hits in the frame but held the Tribe scoreless. He did the same in the eighth inning, keeping the Camels within striking distance.
Â
Campbell loaded the bases in the seventh but was unable to bring a run across. The Camels then went three up three down in the final two frames against Carter Lovasz, who earned his first save of the season.
