BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Four members of Campbell University's NCAA Lubbock Regional bound women's golf team earned Coastal Athletic Association honors in voting by league head coaches.
 
Alicia Olsson was named Co-Golfer of the Year and Fanni Gronlund was chosen as Rookie of the Year.  Mira Berglund joined Olsson on the all-conference first team, while Isabella Hahne was named to the All-CAA second team.
 
Ranked No. 49 in the nation, Campbell is headed to postseason competition for the 12th time in the last 13 seasons.  The Camels won the Golfweek Fall Challenge last September and finished as runner-up in four other events this season including the Tiger Classic, The Southern, Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate and City of Oaks Collegiate. 
 
Campbell finished third in the CAA Championship but earned its at-large spot by virtue of its top 50 national ranking, six top three finishes and a 109-26-2 head-to-head record.
 
Olsson's selection marked the seventh time in the last eight seasons a Campbell player was chosen as it's league's top golfer.  Nadine White (2016), Annelie Sjolholm (2017, 2018), Emily Hawkins (2019, 2022) and Anna Nordfors (2021) were chosen Big South golfer of the year during CU's final six seasons before joining the CAA in the summer of 2023.
 
Gronlund's choice as the top freshman marks the third-straight year a Camel has been named rookie of the year.  Hahne was named Big South freshman of the year in 2023 before Olsson was tabbed the CAA's top frosh in 2024.
 
The Camels, Charleston and UNCW all placed three individuals on the all-conference teams.  CAA champion Charleston as well as UNCW individual Hannah Altman will compete in the Charlottesville Regional.
 
The highest nationally ranked individual (No. 76) among all CAA golfers, Olsson has finished among the top 11 golfers nine times in 10 tournaments, including eight top 10s this season.  A sophomore from Amal, Sweden, she was runner up at the Clemson Tiger Classic and Tennessee Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate.  Olsson finished third at the Daniel Island Invitational and posted a 2nd-straight fifth-place finish at the CAA Championship.
 
Olsson recorded a 71.3 adjusted scoring average and 72.1 overall stroke average.  She owns a 733-81-14 head-to-head record this season and has played par, or better, golf 15 times, including a collegiate-career low 66 (-6) at the Tiger Classic.  Olsson enters the NCAA Lubbock Regional with the second-lowest season scoring average in Campbell history.  The 2024 CAA rookie of the year and first-team all-conference selection, Olsson was a three-time CAA Golfer of the Week in '24-25.
 
Gronlund is the highest ranked freshman (No. 438) by more than 100 places among all CAA golfers this season.  A native of Kirkkonummi, Finland, she has recorded five top 15 finishes, including a tie for 10th place at the Clemson Tiger Classic and CAA Championship.  She tied for 11th at the Golfweek Fall Challenge and NC State City of Oaks Collegiate.  She enters the Lubbock regional with a 74.6 adjusted scoring average and a 75.5 overall stroke average.  Gronlund shot a collegiate low 69 in the second round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge.
 
Berglund earned all-league honors for the second-straight year after claiming second-team recognition as a freshman in 2024.  The third-highest ranked individual (No. 109) among all CAA golfers, Gronlund has six top 10 finishes, including her first career win at Tennessee's Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate, this season.  A sophomore from Oernskoeldsvik, Sweden, Berglund finished tied for third at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, NC State City of Oaks Collegiate and CAA Championship.  Her 71.8 adjusted scoring average ranks third in the CAA and she owns a  72.5 stroke average heading into the regional.  Berglund has played par, or better, golf 11 times this season, including collegiate-career low 66 (-6) at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate.  A three-time CAA Golfer of the Week in '24-25, she enters regional play with the sixth-lowest season scoring average in Campbell history.
 
A junior from Kungsbacka, Sweden, Hahne is the ninth-highest ranked individual (No. 363) among CAA golfers.  She has posted two top 15 finishes this season, including a runner-up showing at The Southern.  She earned a second-straight top 15 (T13) finish at the CAA Championship.  Hahne owns a 74.0 adjusted scoring average, 74.4 overall stroke average with six rounds of par, or better, golf in nine tournaments.
 
Since taking over as head coach of the Campbell women's program in 1991-92, head coach John Crooks has guided the Camels to 27 NCAA postseason appearances.  His players have been named conference golfer of the year 16 times and freshman of the year on 11 occasions.
