Three Camels earn all-CAA honors

BUIES CREEK - Three Fighting Camels earned CAA postseason honors. Sam Bischoff landed on the first team, Rasa Welsh on the second team, and Kendall Wilson was named to the all-rookie team.

Three players earning CAA postseason honors is the most in Campbell's short time in the CAA and two more than last season's squad.

Bischoff lived up to her preseason all-CAA billing and landed on an all-conference first team for the fourth time in her five-year career ('21-'22-'23 Big South). The graduate student produced eight hat tricks on the year, including six times in CAA play, with three or more points in nine of her 15 games played. Bischoff also picked up multiple ground balls and caused multiple turnovers six times apiece. She earned at least two draw controls in every game, with a season-high nine coming against William & Mary in the season finale. Bischoff ranks eighth in the CAA in both goals per game (2.67) draw controls per game (3.93). She also ranks in the CAA's top-10 in shots and shots on goal…Helped Campbell rank in the nation's top-20 in caused turnovers per game (10.5).

In the Campbell career ranks, Bischoff the fourth player in school history to reach 200 career points and Campbell's second all-time leading goal scorer. She also ranks in Campbell's all-time top-10 in assists, draw controls and caused turnovers, and collected her fourth season with at least 30 goals in 2025. Bischoff is now a four-time first team all-conference honoree and two-time midfielder of the year.

Welsh was named all-conference for the second time in her career, joining her first-team all-Big South nod in 2023. The grad student proved to be Campbell's top point earner this season with 37 goals and a team-high 26 assists for a team-best 63 points. Welsh produced multiple points in 13-of-15 games this season, including a season-high seven against Wofford with three goals and four assists. She logged eight hat tricks, including a season-high five goals and adding an assist in a win at Binghamton. Welsh recorded four assists against Wofford and Hofstra, with multiple assists in seven outings. Earned five or more draw controls in 11 games, including a season-best 10 to go along with four goals and two assists at Lehigh. Ranked fifth in the CAA in draw controls per game (5.53), averaging 6.3 per game in conference play, fourth in points per game (4.20), fifth in assists per game (1.73), sixth in free position goals per game (0.60) and 11th in goals per game (2.47). Welsh also ranks in the CAA's top-15 in shots, shots on goal.

Welsh put her name all over the record books during her time in The Creek. She stands seventh all-time in Campbell career points, ninth in goals, third in assists and seventh in draw controls.

Wilson landed on the all-rookie team following her first season in The Creek. Her six ground balls against Old Dominion were tied for the second most by a CAA member this season, and she picked up multiple ground balls seven times. The freshman caused multiple turnovers five times, including a season-high three in back-to-back games against Old Dominion and Wofford. Wilson ranked 15th in the CAA in ground balls per game (2.00) and 13th in caused turnovers per game (1.20). Her efforts helped Campbell rank in the nation's top-20 in caused turnovers per game (10.5). Wilson started all 15 games as a freshman and stands second on the team in ground balls (30). She was one of five Camels with at least 16 caused turnovers.

Wilson is the first Camel to earn the all-rookie nod in the CAA, and the first to bring home any all-rookie/freshman nod for a first-year player since Loren Day did so in the Big South in 2013.
