Andrzejek to speak at Raleigh Sports Club

BUIES CREEK - Men's basketball coach John Andrzejek will feature as the Raleigh Sports Club's weekly speaker on Wednesday, September 3.

The lunch buffet opens at 11:30am, with meeting proceedings to begin at noon. Entry is $35 for guests and $25 for RSC members.

Andrzejek was hired as Campbell's head coach in March, just prior to the national championship run as an assistant with the Florida Gators. This is Andrzejek's first-career head-coaching role.

Andrzejek's resume includes stops at Florida, Washington State, San Francisco, and his alma mater, Columbia. He was named to ESPN's 40-Under-40 list in 2020, highlighting the brightest young minds in college basketball. At the time, Andrzejek was the youngest coach on the list.

The Raleigh Sports Club is in its 62nd season, providing lunches to more than 250 members and guests that gather to listen to stories from speakers throughout the local sports scene.

Meetings are held in Bradley Hall at Highland United Methodist Church (1901 Ridge Rd., Raleigh).

Some of the biggest names in sports have featured as RSC speakers in the past, ranging from basketball coaches such as Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski and Rollie Massimino, to beyond basketball with Satchell Paige, Ted Williams, and many more.
