NORFOLK, Va. — Campbell women's soccer returned to the win column with a, 2-0, dominate performance over Hampton on Sunday afternoon at Powhatan Field.

Campbell (3-4-3, 1-1-1) got out to an early lead just 20 minutes into the match. Abby Connolly lobbed the ball out to a racing Ella Wineka close to the middle of the box before she fired the ball past the Pirates' goalkeeper.

Abby Connolly would then connect with Zahra Fepessi off the corner kick to double the Camels lead. Connolly found Fepessi off the far post who headed the ball into the back of the net.

The second half was much of a physical battle with three yellow cards recorded, two by the Camels.
