PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Isabella Hahne is tied for 15th on the individual leader board and Campbell is tied for fourth place in the team standings after Sunday's opening round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
 
Hahne was one of 17 golfers in the 108-player field to break Sunday on the par-71, 6075-yard Mike Strantz design. She finished the day at 1-under-par 70 after playing the final five holes two under.  Sophomore Fanni Gronlund is tied for 18th at even-par 71 and Taylah Ellems T23 at 1-over 72 heading into Monday's second round.

Paced by individual leader Tien-In Uang (-5) and Caroline Johnson (-4), Charlotte finished the day at 11-under 273 and owns an 11-stroke lead over Coastal Carolina (284) in the 20-team field.  Morehead State (286) is third, while Campbell (288) and East Carolina (288) are tied for fourth at 4-over, one shot clear of UNCW and Troy.
 
Hahne's day included four birdies, while Gronlund and Ellems made three each.  Jade Potter is T56 at 4-over (75) and Izabella Grimbrandt T95 at plus-9 (80).  Playing as an individual, freshman Linn Svedlund is tied for 23rd at 1-over 72.

The Course – Caledonia Golf & Fish Club (Par 71, 6526 yards): Caledonia was ranked No.-27 in the 2014 Golf Magazine "Top 100 You Can Play" course listing and is annually ranked on "America's 100 Greatest Public courses" list by Golf Digest.  The 6,526-yard Mike Strantz design has been described as having "18 signature holes," with holes routed around majestic oaks and meandering streams. The picturesque 18th hole borders the Plantation's old rice field, and requires a precise tee shot that sets up a difficult second shot: a forced carry onto a green at the foot of the clubhouse.
