Sunday Promotion: On Sunday, the Camels are hosting Harnett County Day. All Harnett County residents will receive free admission by simply showing your ID at the ticket office. All children 12 and under get in free to all Campbell Athletics home events.

Sunday is also National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Rally towels will be handed out to the first 200 fans, and those in attendance will have the chance to meet other Campbell women's sports teams throughout the concourse. Â

Last Time Out: Campbell came away with two wins last week. First, the Camels defeated Hampton on the road Friday night, led by a career performance from
Gianni Boone. After the contest against UNCW was initially postponed, CU came away with an overtime win at home on Tuesday thanks to a program record 13 blocks.

Road Warriors: The first half of Campbell's CAA slate featured six out of nine games on the road. Beginning with Charleston, CU will play six of its final nine games at home.

In the Rankings: Campbell ranks 221 in the NET and 230 in Bart Torvik's rankings. William & Mary is ranked 212 and 208, while Charleston sits at 100 and 102.

Scouting the Opponents: The Tribe have won two straight games after losing the previous four. Cassidy Geddes continues to lead the team in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per contest. Four Tribe players have started all 18 games so far this season.

The Cougars have won nine straight and have scored 62 or more points in every CAA game. Taryn Barbot, the defending CAA Player of the Year, was voted as the Preseason Player of the Year. She is averaging 19.3 points per game.

Series History: Campbell is 4-3 against the Tribe, winning the contest earlier this season by two points at home. The Camels hold a 14-10 advantage in the all-time series against Charleston, including an 80-59 win in last year's CAA Championship semifinal.

One of the best in the country: Jasmine Nivar won the CAA Rookie of the Week award for the fifth time last week. She is one of four players in the NCAA to win their conference's freshman of the week award five or more times (Aaliyah Chavez, Oklahoma; Blanca Quiñonez UCONN; Uche Izoje, Syracuse).

The chase for 1K: Gianni Boone eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career, doing so against Monmouth. She is the 22nd player in program history to accomplish the feat and the first since Luana Serranho in 2022.

Second Quarter Defense: CU is allowing 12.5 points in second quarters, including lows of 0 to Virginia-Lynchburg, 2 to Grambling State, and 4 to both Western Carolina and Carolina University. Nine of 21 opponents have scored 13+ points against the Camels in the second frame.

The Camels are one of four teams to hold an opponent to 0 points in a quarter this season (CSUN, UCLA, Ohio State). Campbell is the only D1 team to hold four opponents to less than 5 points in any quarter.

Gianni Boone was named to the preseason All-CAA First Team. The Camels, who finished last year as the CAA runner-up, were picked to finish fourth in the preseason coaches' poll.

Ronny Fisher enters his 10
th season at the helm in Buies Creek. He has amassed a 187-111 record and has twice led Campbell to a program record 23 wins in a season.
