Camels set for tilt at Elon

ELON, NC - The Fighting Camels will look to continue their winning ways in a weekend tilt at Elon. Campbell enters riding a four-match win streak with sweeps of Hampton and NC A&T to vault into a tie for third place in the CAA standings.

Series History
The Camels and Phoenix have met 21 times, with Campbell sitting 15-6 all-time against Elon and 3-1 since Campbell joined the CAA.

Campbell swept last year's meetings with a pair of straight-set victories, with an average margin of victory of seven points per set.

Last Time Out
Campbell swept the weekend with NC A&T, downing the Aggies twice in four sets. In some of Campbell's best play of the season, the Camels hit .254 as a team on the weekend and served 21 aces while only allowing five against.

Emma McCartney set the tone with 26 kills and 28 aces across the weekend, both tied for the team-best.

Scouting the Phoenix
Elon brings a 1-12, 7-5 mark into this weekend's action following a weekend split at UNCW, with both matches decided in straight sets.

Cameron Lanier leads the way with 3.50 kills/set, good for fourth in the CAA just ahead of Campbell's McCartney. Anna Sewell (2.74 kills/set) joins her as the only other player above two kills per set.

Looking Ahead
Campbell's final home weekend of the season is Nov. 6-7 against Stony Brook. Nov. 7 will be senior night to honor Lauren Wheeler and Ashley Artura.
