Camels travel north to face Western Michigan

BUIES CREEK - The Camels travel north to face Western Michigan Sunday afternoon in the second game of the '26-'27 campaign. Tip-off in Kalamazoo is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

Coverage
Sunday Nov. 8 - 2 p.m. | ESPN+ | LiveStats

Series History
The Camels and Broncos met for the first time a season ago in the first leg of this home-and-home series. Campbell earned its first win of the season with a 91-82 victory behind 29 points from DJ Smith, who accounted for six of Campbell's 12 made triples on the day.

Campbell and Western Michigan account for two of the five teams in the nation with zero returners from last year's rosters. Both coaches, and all players will be new from last year's game to Sunday's contest.

Last Time Out
Campbell fell 83-64 in the season opener at NC State. A cold stretch late in the first half had Campbell down 22 at the break, but the Camels responded to win the second half 45-42. Rashawn Inglemon led all scorers with 20 points, and Lance Waddles added 19 for the Camels.

Scouting The Broncos
WMU enters at 1-1 with a loss to Old Dominion and a win over Kalamazoo College (DIII). The Broncos are coming off a 10-21, 4-14 campaign a year ago.

Mason Bendinger is the early scoring leader averaging 13.5 per game, while four total Broncos average 9.5 ppg or better.

WMU is led by Kahil Fennell in his first season at the helm. The Broncos were picked to finish eighth in the MAC preseason poll.

Looking Ahead
Campbell visits ETSU Wednesday night (Nov. 11). Tip-off with the Buccaneers is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Johnson City, Tenn.
