Friday Promotion: Join the Camels on Friday as they celebrate Black History Month. Campbell will also recognize former player and coach Tonya Colwell and the positive impact she has had on basketball within the community. Fans in attendance will receive "Tough Like Tonya" wristbands.

Scouting the Opponents: Towson is 3-3 in its last six games and defeated Stony Brook by five in its latest contest. India Johnston continues to lead the team in scoring, averaging 14.9 points as the only Tiger in double figures. She scored 19 against the Camels in January.

Charleston hosts William & Mary on Friday before welcoming the Camels on Sunday. The Cougars defeated Towson last week after dropping their first CAA game of the year. Taryn Barbot leads the team with 19.4 points per game. Her sister, Taylor Barbot, and Tyja Beans also average double figures.

Series History: Campbell is 7-2 overall against Towson, but the Tigers earned a 57-54 win in the last matchup.

The chase for 1K: Gianni Boone eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career, doing so against Monmouth. She is the 22nd player in program history to accomplish the feat and the first since Luana Serranho in 2022.

National Nivar: Jasmine Nivar was named to the Tamika Catchings Award preseason watch list by the USBWA. She is one of 20 student athletes on the list and just one of two from a mid-major program. Â

Gianni Boone was named to the preseason All-CAA First Team. The Camels, who finished last year as the CAA runner-up, were picked to finish fourth in the preseason coaches' poll.

Ronny Fisher enters his 10
th season at the helm in Buies Creek. He has amassed a 191-113 record and has twice led Campbell to a program record 23 wins in a season.
