BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Towson Tigers used a late rally to defeat Campbell, 63-55, Friday night inside Gore Arena. The Tigers came back from 13-down and made 11 three pointers on the night.

India Johnston led Towson (16-12, 9-7 CAA) with 24 points and five three pointers.
Olivia Tucker led Campbell (17-11, 10-5) with 19 points.

The Tigers scored 24 points in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback, and Johnston had 13 points in the final frame. Masyn Marchbanks added seven points in the quarter.

Towson led by one, 12-11, after a tightly contested first quarter. Campbell responded with a hot second quarter, shooting 59% and outscoring the Tigers by 10 to take a 33-24 lead into the break. Tucker had 12 points in 17 minutes at the break.

CU opened the third quarter with a 6-2 run for its biggest lead of the night at 13, 39-26, with 5:42 left in the frame. Towson immediately responded with an 8-0 run thanks to two three pointers from Tilda Sjokvist and a jump shot from Kayla Morris.

N'na Konate ended the run with two free throws, but another three from Marchbanks and a Morris jumper brought the Tigers to with two, 41-39, to end the third quarter.

The two teams battled back and forth to start the fourth quarter, with Campbell holding onto the lead and building it back up to six with a Tucker three pointer with 8:13 to play.

Towson tied and took the lead on a pair of free throws by Johnston with 2:52 to play, 54-53. Campbell took the advantage back with free throws from
Jasmine Nivar with 2:44 to play.

The Tigers then ended the game with a 9-0 run, five from Johnston, over the final 2:17 to complete the comeback.

Konate recorded two blocks in the game, moving her yearly total to 41 and into sixth place in program history for blocks in a single season. She also contributed six points and eight rebounds.
Jasmine Felton recorded eight points and eight rebounds while adding a career-high tying four assists.

The Camels had a better shooting performance at 44% to Towson's 37%, but the Tigers used the long ball as an equalizer, making 48% (11-of-23) compared to Campbell's 33% (4-of-12). The Tigers also made three more free throws.
