BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Fighting Camels got back to winning ways with a 54-46 win over N.C. A&T on Alumni Day at Gore Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Jasmine Nivar led all scorers with 15 points, and
Jasmine Felton added 13 points and seven rebounds.

N'na Konate had an impact on the defensive end, recording five rebounds and three blocks, as the Camels (15-9, 8-3 CAA) held the Aggies (9-13, 4-7) to 12 points or less in each quarter. Campbell forced 20 turnovers and scored 24 points from those opportunities.

Chaniya Clark paced the Aggies with 14 points, and Paris Locke added seven points and 10 rebounds.

The teams were tied at 12 after the first quarter, but the Camels opened up a 15-point halftime lead with a 25-point second quarter. Nivar and Felton combined for 15 in the frame, and the Camels shot 50% compared to 30% by the Aggies.

CU maintained its lead through the third quarter, outscoring the Aggies by one. Clark scored six points in the frame, but five different Camels recorded points to push the lead to 16.

The big lead proved critical for the Camels, as they scored just four points in the fourth quarter, all by Nivar. Darrionna Howard scored six of her 10 points in the fourth, but the Aggies never lowered the deficit past eight.

Hadleigh Dill tied her career high with five assists off the bench, and
Gianni Boone recorded her 10
th double-digit performance of the season with 10 points.
