Fanni Gronlund finished in a tie for 19th individually and Campbell placed 11th in the team standings following Sunday's final round of the Gators Invitational, hosted by the University of Florida at Mark Bostic Golf Club.
Host and seventh-ranked Florida (271-275-274—820) claimed team honors at 20-under par, 18 strokes in front of No. 40 Virginia in a 14-team field that included six programs ranked among the nation's top 50. Campbell (298-302-296—896) finished in front of Georgia Southern, FAU and FIU.
Florida's Paula Francisco (68-65-67—200) won individual honors at 10-under on the par-70 Donald Ross design, five shots clear of teammate Siuue Wu (65-69-71—205) and Virginia's
Mira Berglund (69-72-64—205), who played her first two collegiate seasons at Campbell.
Gronlund birdied her last two holes Sunday to climb 17 places up the leaderboard to finish at 6-over 216 (74-73-69—216). The performance marked her third top-20 finish this season and matched her collegiate low round.

The Course – Mark Bostick GC (Par 70, 6002 yards): For more than 80 years, the Mark Bostick Golf Course has anchored the northwest corner of the University of Florida's Gainesville campus. Originally designed by renowned architect Donald Ross during the 1920s, the course has evolved over the years to take on its own distinct personality, most recently completing a $600,000 renovation in August of 2014.
