Thomas Drapeau was named the CAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Drapeau went 2-0 at No. 1 singles this week, helping the Camels to two important conference victories in the final week of the season over Charleston (4-3) and N.C. A&T (5-2).

With the match against Charleston tied at 3-3, the senior edged Jakub Solarski, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (5) to give the Camels the win. He followed by beating A&T's Jindrich Brill, 6-3, 6-4 for his team-best 11th singles victory. Drapeau finished the regular season 4-1 against CAA competition, all at No. 1 singles.

Aleksandar Hudjec also clinched the doubles point against the Aggies with a 6-4 triumph at No. 2.

Drapeau now leads the Camels into the CAA tournament, which begins on Friday in Williamsburg, Va. The Camels are the No. 3 seed and will face off against the host team, six-seed William & Mary in the quarterfinals.
